Nancy Ann Schaefer is a retired university professor from the Quad Cities who now lives in the Maine woods with her husband, two dogs, and three cats. A Pushcart Prize nominee, her work has been published in numerous anthologies and journals (online and in print), including West Coast Maine, Conway Daily Sun [NH], Blue Heron Review, Tipton Poetry Journal, Avocet, Numinous, In Other Words: Mérida, and Rockford Review, among others. Her poetry has also appeared in Chicagoland libraries, on PACE buses, and featured on WVIK NPR. Her second chapbook, Living at hope’s edge, is forthcoming (2017) from Tiger’s Eye Press.
